Firefighter Rescues Ontario Podcast - Episode #8
Scott is a 27-year, second-generation Firefighter and has worked for large, medium, and small departments in full-time and paid-on-call roles. He spent 10 years at the beginning of his career working out of a Technical Rescue station, 6 years working as a Primary-Care Paramedic, 16 years as a Shift Instructor, 5 years as a Fire Training Officer, and 10 years as a Peer Support Team Member and Co-Lead. In 2005 he had the unique experience of participating in a one-year Firefighter exchange with The New Zealand Fire Service, stationed in Wellington. He has a strong passion for the fundamentals, patient care, mental health and personal growth. He has been producing and hosting the Multiple Calls Podcast since February 2018, instructs at Southwest Fire Academy and currently works as the Training Officer and a Firefighter for Collingwood Fire Department.
